Marriage & Family Therapy · Federal Way, WA
Maybe it's the same argument on repeat, or a heaviness you carry alone. Maybe you're not even sure what's wrong — only that things don't feel like they used to. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to sort it out by yourself.
Who I Help
Every relationship and every person has its own story. Here's where we might start.
For partners caught in the same conflict, or drifting into distance, ready to reconnect.
Learn more →For anxiety, stress, burnout, and the transitions that ask more of you than usual.
Learn more →Using PREPARE/ENRICH to build a strong, honest foundation before the wedding.

Learn more →A steady, nonjudgmental space to rebuild — mind, body, relationships, and spirit.
Learn more →How I Work
I bring a systems perspective to every session — looking at the patterns underneath a conflict or a feeling, not just the surface moment. Using Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help couples and individuals understand what's really happening beneath the surface, and build tools that hold up outside the therapy room.
Therapy with me is warm and direct: a space where you're never judged, and never left wondering what to do with what we talked about.
Meet Jennifer Dahl, LMFTA (pending)
I became a therapist because I believe relationships — with a partner, a family, or yourself — are where the deepest hurt happens, and where the deepest healing can too. My work centers on curiosity over judgment: understanding why a pattern exists before trying to change it.
My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and empowered. Healing isn't about becoming someone new — it's about reconnecting with the strength and clarity that's already in you, and building the tools to carry it forward long after our work together ends.
Practical Information
Starting therapy is a big enough step on its own — the logistics shouldn't add stress.
